UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2025 Vacancies
- Sub-Inspector – Civil Police (Male/Female): 4242 vacancies (UR-1705, EWS-422, OBC-1143, SC-890, ST-82), Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 ₹9300-34800 Grade Pay ₹4200 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400), Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent degree, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2025
- Platoon Commander – PAC / Sub-Inspector – Armed Police (Male): 135 vacancies (UR-56, EWS-13, OBC-36, SC-28, ST-02), Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 ₹9300-34800 Grade Pay ₹4200 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400), Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent degree, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2025
- Platoon Commander / Sub-Inspector – Special Armed Force (Male): 60 vacancies (UR-25, EWS-6, OBC-16, SC-12, ST-1), Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 ₹9300-34800 Grade Pay ₹4200 (to be revised as Pay Scale Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400), Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent degree, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/07/2025

Application Fee
An application fee of ₹500/- to be paid by UR/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹400/- for SC/ST candidates to be deposited in the designated branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in Account header 007060800140000 through payment challan.
Selection Process
The selection for the posts of Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander in UP Police for the year 2025 will be through a written examination of 160 questions having 400 marks of 2:00 hours.
